Which Suno version should I pick?

Start with Suno v6: it is the new standard version and the default. Suno v6 Wild sounds bolder and less predictable, and Suno v6 Mini is the lighter one. All three make tracks up to 6 minutes long.

The longest tracks, up to 8 minutes, come from v4.5 through v5.5, and Suno v5.5 is marked as beta. Suno v4 is the simplest: tracks up to 4 minutes, and the only setting is a list of what to keep out of the sound.

How do I get a song in my own language?

The safest route is Custom lyrics mode: your words go to the model exactly as written, with no rewording. Paste the lyrics in your language and mark the parts of the song with [Verse], [Chorus], [Bridge], [Intro] and [Outro] tags. Lyrics can run up to 5,000 characters, or 3,000 on Suno v4.

No words yet? Switch to From a description: up to 500 characters about genre, mood and topic is enough, and the model writes the lyrics itself.

What else you can set

In Custom lyrics mode the words come with a Style / genre field of 1,000 characters (200 on Suno v4), a track title and an Exclude field for whatever should stay out of the sound. In both modes you can pick a male or female voice, or tick Instrumental to drop the vocals.

The Style adherence slider keeps the track closer to your description, and Weirdness makes it bolder. Suno v4 has neither slider and no voice choice.
